Forming Vowels: Lips As Finisher

In vowel formation, the lips act as the final finisher.

Like the tongue, the shape of the lips is in response to the mind and the shaped air molecules. The lips play more of a vowel finishing role on the lower pitches. As the pitch rises, the mouth opens wider, and the role of the lips becomes less and less.
