Little Heavier As Descending

As we move from the second floor of the vocal home to the first floor, we feel as if we are walking down the staircase. We move from a feel in the area of the soft palate and ears to a feel in the area of the hard palate and front of face.

As we descend the scale or staircase, there is more chordal vibration. Due to an increase in mass, then we feel a little heavier coming down. This feel is like adding a little weight plus bigger steps, and not being as tall. This feeling of little bits heavier as descending the scale indicates all is working well.

Allen Rascoe

Allen has been enjoying singing since he was a little kid. He officially studied voice at ECU and USC. However, he ran into some vocal trouble. The search for healing led him to the studio of Dr. Joel Ewing, and into the world of functional vocal mechanics. Allen has explored vocal truth, and thus highly recommends the writings of E-Herbert Caesari, Cornelius Reid, and William Vennard. He is blessed to invite and accompany folks on the journey towards vocal wellbeing. The adventure awaits!
